Jewel's Graduation Ceremony

We received Jewel's diploma in the mail today! Since our baby will be coming around the same time as the UVU graduation ceremony and we aren't quite sure if Jewel will be able to walk, I decided to have a graduation ceremony of our own.

 The diploma was originally on the TV stand, however, Grant snatched the diploma off the stand and became the dean over Behavioral Science. He then presented the diploma to Jewel.

I designed Jewel's graduation gown! She denied wearing my first design, which was the tunic that I used for my Kreacher house elf costume during Halloween. We did, however, finally come to an agreement, right after I had her change out of her BYU hoodie into her UVU one. I have to comment on the wonderful job that I did. It was bursting with school colors and I even provided Jewel with a stole and some honor cords that I know she would be wearing. I also thought that Jewel should put on some high heels for such an imporant event.

(If anyone wants their very own graduation gown, know that I am very open and capable of designing it.)

J'AI FINI!!!

Such a great feeling!  I am done.  I am free!  I no longer am obligated to read boring textbooks, stress over paying for school, hassle over group projects, stress over tests, rush to get to class on time, stress over papers instead of taking care of Grant, hunt for a close parking spot, stress over assignments, feel guilt over leaving my baby behind or, stress over due dates, feel extremely awkward when single guys don't check to see if I have a ring on my finger, and stress stress stress over SCHOOL!   

I'M DONE!

I kinda feel like this:

For the longest time I had an annoying and persistent, "YOU NEED TO FINISH YOUR DEGREE" nagging in the back of my mind.  It was there since I had to drop out of my classes while pregnant with Grant almost two years ago, and now....it's not in the back of my mind anymore.  It's gone, vanished, and now there's a big empty space that needs to be filled.  And I can fill it with...anything!  I'm amazed at all the THINGS I can do!  I can now be a full-time mom and not worry about school (unless I decide to go to grad school in the far-away future).  I can read books that I want to read.  I can cook all I want.  I can crochet and sew and craft and music and parent and project away to my little heart's content.   Such lovely things await me...especially, expanding our family to four!  Our little guy #2 is on his way, due May 3rd!
