Thomas Family Reunion

Last weekend we had a lovely get-together time with the Thomas family! For the first few days we were up in a condo in Park City. We had a Monk party and dressed up as characters from the show (I was Marcie, Mr. Monk's biggest fan, and Jeff was Randy Disher) and watched the last episode of the last season. Jeff and I haven't seen all of the seasons yet, so it was a spoiler to to see the ending. But it was so good!

We shopped at the Outlets, took family pictures TWICE because the first round didn't turn out so well, played games galore, chatted it up and caught up with each other, and took turns cooking meals for everyone. On our last day in Park City, everyone but me went down the Alpine Slide. I stayed back and watched the two babies, who both conveniently woke up two minutes after everyone left. And, this little babe inside of me didn't want to miss out on the fun and started squirming and kicking up a storm! At one time I was bouncing one stroller with one hand, rocking the other with the other hand, and sitting pretty with a huge belly. People passing by must have had a good laugh! Luckily, Maisie went back to sleep and I only had to take Laura out. Whew! I'm sure glad I'll be only having one baby right now!

The lighting was so great on this field! I think Jeff was trying to make a heart with his hands over my big belly, but a triangle is close, right?

Eric, Karyn, and little Laura are such a great family!

All of the Thomas guys. Soon there will be 8!

Kae is such a wonderful grandma!

Oaklee playing with her Auntie Katie.

Late-night Thai food dinner! Yum! Thanks Jonathan and Krista!

Back in Salem, playing games and roasting food over the fire.

Jeff made an AWESOME bubble wand. Those bubbles were so huge! Then he wanted to make a bigger and better one, and he did! The kids loved it!

On our last day of the reunion, Jeff and I were in charge of dinner. We decided to make some delicious Indian cuisine. It took about 6 hours total to prep and cook everything for 14 people, but it turned out AMAZING! Chicken tikki masala on rice with fresh cilantro on top, gobi aloo (a cauliflower, potato, and tomato vegetable dish), grilled naan, and Brazilian lemonade. Everyone was thoroughly delighted with our efforts. Huzzah! We sadly forgot to take pictures of the meal. After we ate we watched the Salem fireworks. The Thomas family reunion indeed ended with a bang!

These last pictures aren't related to the reunion, but I thought I'd share...

34 weeks! Yeah, the face I'm making speaks for itself on how I feel much of the time!

Wedding ring #4! Don't worry, it only cost $10. It's a size 7...my fingers swell two sizes bigger these days and I don't want to go around without one on my hand!
