Growing up! I have a niece! Gerber baby!

Grant is growing up so fast! He's really starting to pick up on how to sign things. So far he can sign eat, please, thank you (sometimes), cracker, and hi/bye, and he also understands the signs for milk, book, and sleep. It's so neat having him start to really communicate with us!

Grant also knows how to open drawers and cabinets, pull plugs out of their wall sockets, turn on the CD players, take off the nozzle to the humidifier, stand on his tiptoes to reach high (and forbidden) objects, and open DVD cases, to name just a few. Today I came home from my classes, went to use the bathroom, and saw this:

Looks like we're going to have to start putting the toilet paper roll on backwards! This boy sure does keep us on our toes!

Ladies and gents, we also have a WALKER! Wooohooo!

HUGE congratulations to my oldest sister on having a baby GIRL! After EIGHT grandsons on the Wakamatsu side, I finally have a niece! She is so little, adorable, and perfect. Grant and I hitched a ride down with my parents to see her Sunday night. I'm glad we had the extra day (Labor Day) to hold her! I didn't want to put her down!

My happy-arrival-to-earth! present for Gracie girl. I've been toying with the idea of selling these and other crocheted creations...any thoughts about that?
