Can you hear it?
High in the treetops, the rustling leaves whisper,
sharing solemn truths as wisps and gusts of air breeze through.
Dragonflies and bees flit lightly to and fro,
humming, buzzing hurriedly along to tell the tale to every creature.
The birds rejoice in a never-ending song,
exultantly chirping of light and love through the shade.
Surrounded by this symphony, my soul stirs deep inside of me.
Can you see it?
Ancient trees rooted in the midst, solid witnesses of unimaginable glory.
Knowledge of the past is ingrained into their vine and moss-covered fibers.

Light streams sporadically down through the canopy above,
dancing across all it touches and creating a hundred shades of green.
The sacred ground, scattered and strewn with earthy debris,
firmly but gently presses against my feet and beckons me to tread softly.
Awakened by this vivid masterpiece, I reach inside to understand.
Can you feel it?
The rush of the Spirit flows through this place,
filling me up from head to toe as I walk along its paths.
Joy and happiness overcomes me as I ponder,
as I think of what occurred here to the chosen fourteen year old boy.
Wonder and amazement and gratitude consume me.
The Father and the Son appeared here, they spoke here, they loved here.
Do you know it?

I do.
With all of my heart, with all of my mind, with all of my being.
Immersed in this splendor, peace soothes my soul.
