4 Month Stats

It has been an amazing 4 months with Granty-Gru in our family. We took him to his 4-month well-check and here are his stats:

About 15 1/2 lbs - 60th percentile

About 23 1/2 inches long - 7th percentile
Head circumference is 16.75 inches - 58th percentile

We've got ourselves a short, chubby baby with a big head (to store his massively intelligent brain, of course)! And we love all of his chubbas to pieces! He is perfect.

He is growing so much! He can grab objects fairly well and put them in his mouth, can be a chatter box, sings his own little songs, can be VERY ticklish, he's sitting and standing up stronger (with some help), and he can even put his binky in by himself!

Gramps and Grams gave him this baby "gym" for Christmas. He loves talking to the animals and grabbing at them!

Grant's pediatrician said he could start eating solid foods anytime between 4-6 months. He does seem to be more interested in watching us eating....what do you think? Is it time for him to start?

And Grant's thinking... "Why are you eating that? That's not where food comes from!" Granty sure is a cutie!

What a cutie! It's been fun to watch your blog for updates.
Oh, no solids until at least 6 months - decreased chance of food allergies, among many other reasons to wait.
